David and Mary Alice Stevens

David’s primary ministry is training pastors in West African French speaking countries under the direction of African Pastoral Training and the Thompson Bible International Institute. Both Mary Alice and he also come alongside the pastoral and church leadership around the U.S.

David and Mary Alice were FEC missionaries in France from 1984-2000, then returned to the States to pastor a church in Oregon (Central Bible Church). Then, from 2014-2019, David pastored a church in Jurbise, Belgium (IBC). They served in France 2020-2024 before returning to the States to be close to family. They have three adult children, Rebecca, Mary Lynne, and Justin. David is the son of former First Evan Senior Pastor Earle Stevens. They first became FEC Missionaries in 1984.
