Thanksgiving Offering: A Christmas Gift for Our Missionaries

It is our annual tradition to collect an offering to send to our Missionaries as a Christmas gift. You can bless them by giving now through Sunday, December 10. Designate “Thanksgiving Offering” on your check to First Evan, or give online at www.firstevan.org/thanks.
Thanksgiving Generation Mandate (Prime Time)
According to Psalm 78, every generation of believers has a mandate to share stories of God’s faithfulness to the next generation. We are asking you to be intentional by writing your stories of God’s faithfulness and to share these stories with your family (children and grandchildren) at Thanksgiving, then bring us your stories by December 1. Prime Time will put together these Stories of God’s Faithfulness to share with First Evan. 40 Days for Life - Sidewalk Vigil
Tuesdays, October 3–31, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., outside of Planned Parenthood (2430 Poplar Ave.)
40 Days for Life is a prayer vigil led by Memphis Coalition for Life to end abortion. First Evan will stand on the sidewalk every Tuesday. You can volunteer for an hour-long shift with a partner at www.firstevan.org/40daysforlife.
Hymn Sing
Sunday, August 6, 6:00–7:30 p.m., Sanctuary.
Join us for an evening of singing hymns together! We’ll sing some of our “regular” hymns as well as old favorites from years ago. Ken Boer will also share devotional thoughts about some of the hymns throughout the evening. Childcare is available for ages 2 and under.
