Each session will be guided by an investigation of one or two contemporary artists that use art to make relevant statements for their cultures. Supplies: sketchbook, pencil, pens and highlighter. Leader: Jenna Fergus, (901) 647-2148, jafergus4u@gmail.com

Capturing Contentment (Women)

Contentment seems an elusive thing, especially in this COVID-19 world. In this four-week class, we will look at how various biblical characters, like Abraham, Joseph, David, and Job wrestled with contentment. We will also discuss some of Paul's letters and Jesus' teachings related to the things that drive our discontentment. Leader: Christina Horton, (901) 605-3158, foreveraking@gmail.com
Dates: Thursdays, July 9–30, 7:00–8:30 p.m.
