Healing Heart Wounds

This classic Bible-trained trauma healing program uses materials from the American Bible Society’s Trauma Healing Institute which applies Scripture and solid mental health practices to help participants heal from the wounds of trauma and hurts—all part of living in a broken world. Participants are asked to commit to attending the entire session. All groups are led by ABS trained and certified facilitators. Cost: $10.

Ever wonder what in the world Worship Pastor Ron Man teaches about when First Evan sends him to those far-flung places? Or perhaps you’d like a fuller understanding of the “why” behind what we do in worship at First Evan. We’ll dig into the Bible to see what we can learn of God’s heart for the worship of His people.

Do you want to gain more wisdom and skill in caring, listening and using the Bible to better help those who are brokenhearted? If so, Coffee Cup Counseling might be a good fit for you. Cost: $35 which includes an instructive manual with study notes, case studies and an appendix of helpful resources, as well as a companion DVD.

This small group study will help you build your own theology of work, and discover how to live your faith more fully through your work. We will discuss a Biblical view of work, calling, and God’s strategy for you at work, regardless of what you think of your job. Discussion guide developed by Mark Gosney will be provided.
