Taylor Park

I may hold the record for having held the most positions during my tenure at First Evan. Since 1991, I have had the opportunity to serve as Youth Pastor, Family Ministry Pastor, Executive Pastor, Church Planter, Young Adult Pastor, Counseling Pastor and now serve again as Executive Pastor with a pretty good chunk of Counseling Pastor still in the mix. My wife, Debbie, whom I met while attending Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, serves as church receptionist and our six kids keep us simultaneously on our toes and on our knees. Josh teaches English at a university in Mersin, Turkey, Liz and her husband, Tyler, live here where she is a nurse and he works for ServiceMaster. Caleb and his wife, Morgan, live here and are finishing up school at the U of M. Hannah is wrapping things up at UT Knoxville and Rebekah and Rachel are a Junior and Sophomore at Houston High School. We have a special affinity for young adults and young married couples and count it a privilege to have the opportunity to speak into their lives through Debbie’s involvement in college ministry, my premarital, marital and general counseling ministry and a mostly open door for these folks to invade our lives whenever they like.
