Ron Man
I studied music in college, and later did degrees at Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. 1982, D.Min. 2009). I served at First Evan as Pastor of Worship and Music, from 1988-2000; then for eight years I did itinerant teaching on worship, mostly in Eastern Europe, while being based in Germany and later in Memphis again. Since 2009 I am again on staff as Pastor of Worship/Missionary in Residence, continuing my overseas teaching as well as leading the Worship Choir and the Traditional Service at First Evan. My wife Betsy teaches piano, plays the string bass, but most of all loves being a grandmother to the two daughters of our daughter Lily (25) and her husband Brandon (who works at Advance Memphis downtown). Our son Christian (24) lives here also and works for Knowledge Quest in South Memphis. Our older daughter Grace works at Park Street Church in Boston.
