Don Warren

After graduating from Moody Bible Institute, I joined the staff of First Evan in 1992 as the Jr. High youth pastor.  I met my wife, Sabrina, on a singles retreat at First Evan after being on staff here.  Sabrina grew up in the greater Memphis area, and I grew up "all over".  I have lived in Texas, California, Florida, The Azores (islands off of Portugal) and the country of Haiti.  We have two daughters:  Abigail and Hannah.  In 1997 I was asked to oversee the development of our Recreation Ministry, and in 1999 I was asked to assume my current position as Pastor of Administration.  I received my certification as a Certified Church Administrator from the National Association of Church Business Administration in July 2003 and was recertified in July, 2010.  During my free time, I like to ride my bike when I can, and I enjoy watching pro and college football as well as college basketball.  I don’t know who coined it, but one of my favorite sayings is:  “STRESSED is DESSERTS spelled backwards.”
