David Schmidt

I currently serve as the Children's Pastor at First Evan.  I have been blessed to be on staff since May 1999.  Watching kids come to know Christ is one of the greatest joys of my life...and a close second is watching them grow in their faith.  I love sharing God's truth with all kids....toddlers to teens.

My wife Liz is the mother of our 6 kids and she is my number one pick to have coffee with.  I love fishing with my kids and/or laughing with them til our stomachs hurt (which both usually happen during some fishing adventure).  The rest of my list of favorite things I enjoy (remember Liz was first) is working out, watching college football, and reading.
