If you are a high schooler or if you are interested in investing in the lives of high schoolers, come and hang out. During our Crossroads Sunday school hour, we eat together, worship together, and open God’s word together. Come as you are!
Click here for directions to First Evan. When you get to the church, enter the left side parking lot and enter through gym lobby. Above the gym you will find the Crossroads room (E202).
Light Nights is a time for Crossroads students to gather together on Sunday nights for dinner, fellowship, and Bible Study. Grab your Bible and a friend and come hang out with us as we study God’s Word together!
Provides an opportunity for students to grow in their relationships with Jesus, their friends, and their adult small group leaders. Each week we meet for games, worship, teaching, and small group time. Small groups are divided by grade and gender to discuss the message from the evening, build friendships, and pray together. Afterwards, we eat great snacks and hang out. For more information, email email@example.com.
360 Weekend is a weekend full of fun and worship. Students will meet at the church on Friday evening and join us for an exciting weekend where we’ll hear from a great speaker, worship together, and have lots of fun! All meals and transportation will be provided. Students will be spending the night at either a host home or the church. Cost: $85/student by January 19. Sign up here.
This year the theme of camp will be Wired for Worship, and the staff at Crossings Camp at Cedarmore in Kentucky will help our students step back from a hyper-connected world with various distractions, idols, and sins to look at what we were made to do—worship the living God.
Every day, students will have the opportunity to dive into the Bible each morning in small groups, participate in POIs (points of impact) and lake recreation in the afternoon, and finish off the evening with a time of worship. At Cedarmore, some POIs students can sign up for include Gaga Ball, the Zip line, Escape Rooms (High school students only), Climbing, Tiger Ball, Archery Tag, Bazooka Ball, Arts and Crafts, and more! Our camp speaker will be Kevin Hall. To learn more information about camp, you can visit here.
Camp is open to all students who will have completed 6th–11th grade by the start of summer. Students are encouraged to invite friends as well!
The cost to go to camp is $400 per student. A non-refundable $75 deposit is due online at registration. Camp spots fill up pretty quickly and Crossings needs to know how many to expect, so the deadline to register for camp is February 12!
Crossroads Ministry strives to have consistent partnerships with local organizations to provide students with opportunities to give back and to serve others. This is done with the intentions to love and serve our city and the world around us with the love of Christ. We also believe providing opportunities for students to be a part of something bigger than themselves is extremely valuable. Currently our three partnerships are with Agape North, Operation Broken Silence, and Multi-National Ministries.
Provides Crossroads with all of our shirts, stickers, and most likely any other memorabilia you see our students wearing. We buy all of this through them and then they provide school uniforms for local and international students. This is a simple and creative way for our ministry to reach a little further with our promotional materials. Our students receive a cool shirt and Agape North provides school uniforms to students in need. For more information on what Agape North does, click here.
A local non-profit organization leading a global movement for peace and justice in Sudan through innovative programs. Our students work alongside OBS through fundraising, participating in their yearly Eden's Run 5K, having our own events that raise funds, and any other ways we are able. Check out our calendar for events that relate to the above organizations and more!
