Ron grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., and met his wife Betsy while they were both studying music at the University of Md. Ron also studied at Dallas Theological Seminary (Th. M., 1982), and several churches in Texas and Vienna, Austria before joining the staff of First Evan in 1988 as Pastor of Worship and Music. After 12 years, the Mans joined Greater Europe Mission and moved to Germany, where Ron began Worship Resources International, a ministry of itinerant teaching on worship. He continues that overseas ministry part-time since rejoining the staff in January 2009 to oversee the worship ministry and lead the traditional service.
Ron has published a book entitled Proclamation and Praise, and completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Dallas Seminary in May 2009.
Ron and Betsy have three grown children, one son-in-law, and one precious granddaughter!
