David loves spending time with Liz over a cup of coffee and being with kids especially his own.  Liz and David have six children: Stephen, Sarah, John Michael, Jared, Landon, and Caleb.

  • Favorite foods: Most everything…I didn’t get this size by being picky.
  • Most famous encounter:  I was personal security escort to Mark McGuire and Michael Jordan when they played baseball.
  • Favorite story to read to kids:  Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham
  • Most dangerous job:  Head of security at the Mid South Coliseum during the Tool concert.  The fans did $11,000 worth of damage that night.
  • Craziest thing I’ve done:  I swam in a tub full of baked beans in a white suit with a puppet lip-syncing “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” to win an all expense paid trip to see Michael Jackson in concert in New York. (by the way, I won).
  • People are surprised to know:  I am a closet fan of old time gospel music.  I was raised on it and my dad still sings in a gospel quartet.
  • Favorite impersonation:  Donald Duck sneezing.  The kids love it.
  • Favorite heartburn concoction:  baking soda and water
  • Things I collect:  Coins and Beanie Babies (just the bears)
  • Most amazing story I tell:  ..is how I delivered our last two babies because of quick labor and no doctor in the room.
